figure sketches - a few timed 45-60 second poses -- they are tough and good practice for an artist.. that timer goes off very quickly! the intent for these is to sharpen your hand/eye coordination -- eventually you look only at the model and draw almost 'blind'-- never really lifting the tool off of the paper/media (until you shade in values at the end)

figure painting -- 1 hour study from reference picture, using Art Rage software; not an exact likeness of the original, but done mainly to study the pose and colors in the image; when artist's are unable to get figure drawing models, we rely of any reference we can find-- in this case, it was a swimsuit model! :)
also, apologize for the low res image-- this was intended to be a quicker study, and the image resolution was set really low for speed on my laptop

Red Faction: Armageddon (box art)
