Mike #2' -- under painting phase (oils) -- our assignment was to re-paint this person/subject while addressing our instructors comments and feedback

notice in this version (compared to #1) -- that i left the darks thin and transparent, letting the background show through.. while building up more opaque values in the lights

which version do you like better? :)
